Many people don't understand when they come across someone that says "I love myself".
You may think that these type of people are 'up themselves' or 'all that'. These 'I love myself' people could quite possibly look down on you, put you down for not being like them and/ or find any or all your flaws and ridicule them.
The truth is, these type of 'I love myself' people are FAKE! If they flaunt that they love themselves, it is all a charade, a mask covering up the flaws that they want others to look away from. I have met plenty of these people and it saddens me that they have this illness. Please forgive them,
If you want to say to yourself 'I love me', the first thing is accepting all your flaws. Truthfully, it will take a while and it can be a bit confronting at first as you may not want to accept them. Let it all out though, warts and all. And remember, this is all private, no one else needs to know this. You can do this is the most effective way possible, whether it is writing it down, drawing it, talking about it to yourself, mind mapping it, what ever way you find it most comfortable and understanding.
Remember this rule: Don't make excuses towards love and happiness.
Some examples of flaws could be physical, a scar, skin colour, hair colour, weight or figure, height, shortness. It could be personality, too quiet, too loud, sense of humour, interests, . It could be the way you have grown / brought up, experiences, knowledge, religious beliefs, cultural background. When I see this list, I see beauty in all of these examples. Now you must realise the beauty in them. I cannot do it for you, for that will be my view and not yours. But trust me, there is beauty and love and intelligence, just make the effort to see it.
Once you realise these flaws, one by one, you start understanding that this is the real you. You may feel like you want to fight it and bury it in the ground again and not have to confront it again. But if you accept it, you may start to understand life around a bit better. YOU may understand that this is why YOU do something a certain way. You may understand other people a bit more, You may even start tolerating people a lot more than you used to. YOU YOU YOU, YOU start realising how YOU are important.
Once you start realising and accepting your flaws, and realising how important you are, you start to live life more productively. You may start seeing these flaws as a gift. That this is a uniqueness that no one else has and you CAN use it as a benefit to yourself and to your life.
For example, I used to dislike my skin colour. Throughout all my schooling years in fact. I was generally the only dark skinned boy in my year level. I felt like the odd one out, I had friends but I didn't think I understood what an Aussie life was, being a Aussie born kid with a Sri Lankan background. But little did I know that the knowledge I had was amazing, interesting and inspiring. It was just that others didn't want to understand, and of course, they were kids, they would rather play video games instead. UNDERSTANDING is the key here.
You may feel you are becoming tolerant to those you were once irritating to you. As you meet with them, you can try to understand what it is that is making you find them irritating. Now you have the choice, you can either accept them and understand them, or make them redundant.
Remember these rules. Don't destruct yourself for temporary happiness, rather construct yourself for permanent happiness. You live with yourself all the time, not just whenever.
You are a treasure chest of wealth and knowledge. UNLEASH IT to yourself, accept it and work with it, not against it. And naturally other will see this beauty and admire it.

You're choice. What would you do?
Here is an example of how I turned what could have been a negative situation into a positive situation, and it all had to do with my mental attitude. And anyone can do this.
I am someone who does shift work, I have my permanent shift and then try to pick up shifts when ever I can. Today, as I got to work, I looked at the roster and didn't see my name there. I had thought I had picked up the shift today, but obviously, as seen on the roster, I didn't.
What's the first thing that comes to my head..... DAY OFF!!!!
I had worked Monday and Tuesday already, and know I will be working Thursday, Friday and Saturday. "Great, this will give me the chance to recover and relax, and get myself ready for the next few days of work. And I do feel rather tired and could do with the rest".
But it was then discovered by my fellow colleagues that someone had called in sick and wasn't replaced, and I was advised to take the shift as it would help a lone staff member on this particular area. I accepted.
Let's switch it around now, you got away with it, you got the day off. You go home, change into your pj's and get back into bed, wake up at around 11ish, have some early lunch, go on Facebook / watch YouTube videos / watch a DVD, play games. Then you feel guilty or bored doing nothing, so you may go for a walk, hit the gym / exercise, clean the house etc,.
Now, many of us would do this, and I know I definitely had done this in the past. I would see the day at work as annoying, keep thinking how great my day would have been at home, and just be irritated by many things at work, and continuously be in a lethargic or grumpy mood.
Here's my question to you: how positively productive were you today? How productive were you to moving forward with your life today?
Would you give that little bit of effort to take up that shift at work, earn a few more dollars for yourself, possibly gain some respect and gratitude from you managers and colleagues showing reliability.
Or would you stay at home, by yourself, having a good, relaxing time, doing whatever you want to do and not have a care in the world?
It's your decision, your free will to do what you want. But remember, once this day has gone, you won't be able to get it back.

Mission Statement!
Welcome.
First of all, thank you for taking the time to find and read these set of blogs. I am hoping that you will join me this little project / mission that I hope will take off as of NOW.
It doesn't cost anything but it does involve you effort and time.
How much effort and time? Well, that is entirely up to you!
Within the last two years, I have slowly taken action in my life and beginning to see my world in a whole new way. A more positive way. I started reading books to help me change the way I think of my life and how to reconstruct it to be more positive, happy and peaceful. As I finished reading these books, I saw my world with a bright, positive, 'I can do anything' mentality, but as I continue living through the day, I see many grey areas where external factors influence negative behaviours within yourself. Some of these factors stem from social media, television, radio, different personal views or situation that arise suddenly or don't go our way.
I can chose to ignore all these factors and live under a rock, or I can make them as positive as possible, whenever I can. And this is where I need your help, I cannot do it on my own.
Soon I will be opening up a Facebook page and a YouTube channel, as well as using my Instagram account, and begin to flood these social media outlets with positive memes, videos and posts, of eliminating negativity in our mind, therefore doing good in the things we do towards ourselves and to others.
There are already plenty memes, cideos and posts on the internet, so I am jumping on the bandwagon to make it more positive and motivational.
So if you have any inspiring, motivational, positive items you can put up on Facebook, YouTube or Instagram of how to eliminate negativity in our mind, any positively influenced revelation and how we can change a negative influence into a positive, please use one of the social outlets, making social media a positive viewing platform for everyone.
Please note, no individual put downs on anyone or any situation or organisation. This project is more to showcase how we can eliminate negativity in our mind and in the world today.
